Dee Adams – Sharp, colourful, minimal, abstract art

 

I love Dee’s work, it is so simple but very very effective.  She is a self confessed perfectionist, and she has a unique talent of drawing lines in freehand. All her work is done by hand and she does not use any masking methods, and that is something that really impresses me. She must have a very steady hand, because when you look at her work it is executed perfectly. Her bio on her website sums her up perfectly, she is a passionate perfectionist, who works hard to create simplified beautiful art.
As a child she was exactly like me, I too had an obsession of colouring against the lines neatly and perfectly, and making sure I didn’t go over it. We share similar traits of having perfectly desgined art, but the difference is she can execute it freehand, whereas I need masking tools. If you like simple, minimal, beautiful colourful art, then you will absolutely love her work.
